What is KBUD?

KBUD is a student-driven program that matches newly admitted students with current Kellogg students (KBUDs) as part of an admissions strategy to ensure Kellogg’s vibrant culture and unique community remain strong.

This program pairs every incoming student with a current student at Kellogg. KBUDs serve as a personal resource to incoming students by welcoming and inviting them to connect. The goal is to help newly admitted students gain guidance from peers to facilitate their transition to Evanston. KBUDs will be available to answer questions about getting involved, choosing classes, applying for leadership positions, preparing for recruitment, and connecting to additional student services.

The personal relationships newly admitted students will begin to create with their KBUD will give them direct insight into the unique culture that exists at Kellogg. They will look to you to determine if Kellogg is the right fit for them, and most importantly, your role as a KBUD allows new students to find their place in the Kellogg community.
